The Central High School of Philadelphia - The New Buildings

by George Donnelly on April 28, 2008

JSTOR has an excerpt of an article from 1903 about Central’s “new” buildings.

The main building was completed and occupied by September, 1900 but the annex was only finished in time for the dedication. The total cost of site, buildings and equipment was $1,587,043.16, of which $400,000 was spent for the site alone.

This is the old Broad & Green location they’re referring to.
